Hi, my name is Scott (a.k.a. Papalati, and that's "papa" "lah-tee"). and I'm... a Character Artist.

I have been working in 3D for quite awhile now... getting close to eight years. Tools of the trade are: Maya, Zbrush, and Photoshop. I have also been known to use: Final Cut, Premiere Pro, Flash, Fireworks, and of course Dreamweaver.

In the last few years I have also switched from a traditional medium to digital. Digital makes it much faster to make alterations and corrections. When using traditional material I like to use Bienfang Graphics 360 marker paper and Col-Erase and Prismacolor (standard and verithin) pencils.

Having finished school by the end of 2006, I moved back to my hometown of Cincinnati, OH the following Spring. However upon my arrival and within the first few months I was here, I had discovered rather quickly and to my disdain; that the extent of jobs in my line of work accounted to about nilch.

In other words... that pretty much means: move, freelance, or get a day job... I fell into the latter considering the current situation I was in at the time.Springing forward to today, I currently work at a small company, you may have heard of them... Procter & Gamble. Now note the word there is "AT", not for. I am however employed by Pomeroy IT Solutions, and I work onsite at P&G as a contractor with the title deskside engineer; or in other words... I fix computers.

However if it wasn't for me landing that job I never would have met the love of my life in March of 2008 and ended up marrying said woman in August of that same year. Who says you cant fish in the same pond?

In my spare time I have been known to play a video game or two... when my wife allows it. I enjoy all types of games really, all except RTS games. None for me, no thank you, unless of course you want to hire me to model and texture for your RTS game, I will be happy to do that!!!
